Videography.
Please take into account that we/I cannot provide wedding photography and a full video services together. Adding additional Video to your wedding package is also not a replacement for professional video coverage of your day.
Setting the stage for your video is one more step in to the complete coverage of your wedding. As a photographer my photographs are taken in the best locations and framed well within the surroundings, this is applied to the video which is taken on your wedding day. There are two packages to the wedding video services which I make available, These are Additional and full video; please read the information on the coverage options that you may require.

Additional video
Adding the additional video service will offer some of the highlights to the wedding such as the video shown above. As a photographer it is not coverage for the full event by video as the contract is for the photography which takes priority over video.
The camera is used before the wedding and remains at the back of the venue and moved in between photos to give you a more substantial feel than just a camera placed in a room or guests camera with lots of heads in. The lead up is recorded offers more details around the photography to give you both the hidden part of a wedding that the other will miss out on due to the traditions on a wedding.
The video of the group shoots is generally missed as a whole, but there is footage of the 'lul' between to give a record of the events leading up to and away from this part of your day.
The speeches are recorded from a single point and then part of the first dance is also recorded on video after the photographs are taken.
We do invite your guests to supply us with the video that they have shot on the day to make a complete coverage package that we may miss out on due to the photography I/we carry out.
Your guest's cameras should be digital wide screen capable video cameras and they should send us the tape used on the day, which will be returned to them after we have extracted the video from the tapes.
The downside of additional video package:
Due to the weight of the photographic stills equipment, the additional video package is shot using a digital consumer camera. This is not a super high quality camera but I would class it as above average and not HD (High Definition). The difference of selecting myself to shoot video, is that you will get a copy which friends sometimes forget to deliver and the video would be edited professionally to give a much better account of the day.
Full video
Offering ONLY video of your wedding day, giving you coverage of all the events from the preparations to the first dance. Shot in wide screen the DVD will hold the highlights and the events as they unfold using my skill as a photographer to give you a stunning account of your day throughout the video/DVD.
The full video package offers you a professional quality DVD-video using professional High Definition Digital camera's such as those used in the production of television program's. Offering the best quality and latest technologies to give you a substantial better quality video than your friends and family may provide. This is for three reasons, I am there as a videographer not as a guest, I apply my photography skills to capture the wedding as it happens, and finally, I edit the video using the latest computer hardware and software to provide you with a stunning account of your wedding day.
The sound is recorded is dolby digital stereo with on person and room microphones to give excellent sound recordings of the vows and speeches, the remained of the sound track is dubbed using music of your selection (provided you own the copyright).
Delivery
The footage of your day is prepared over a short period after the wedding with a preview on line of the wedding highlights as shown on the sample playing on this page.
When the film is completed it can be placed in your DVD for playback at your desire. It will be shot in wide screen and dolby digital stereo. Also we will include the RAW footage on the DVD or second DVD as to complete the coverage from two different view points. If youre a budding Video production editor, you will be able to build your own mini films from the discs.
Don't like yourself on video?
Many people don't like video, including many of the people I have shot on video and
not forgetting those whom don't want their photo's taken. As a human and professional photographer, people become relaxed completely with me and really warm to the camera or create a fun feel to the footage. When shooting a wedding I often mix with guests and dont stand out ( when using the small video camera) they must just think that I belong to the other family, So its dismissed. I am not in peoples faces which I think people like.. Its all about having a fun day.
Important information:
As you will see, I am a Photographer and wish to move towards wedding videos, At this time I cannot guarantee the video results, while I will use quality equipment and have an extensive photographical background, video is different. At this present time I will shoot wedding videos for costs plus expenses and your best offer.
