A short time ago ladies would have there classical soft focus glamour photo shoot session with many of the studios dotted around the country, but todays lady is looking for something a little more exciting .

Getting married 50+ years ago was very different than today where the bride would go to the studio of the photographer for a few bride and groom portraits, the launch of the portable camera still did not see the wedding photos that are expected of the brides and grooms today as they simply were not possible.

Bridal boudoir became popular in the UK around 3 years ago, it was the ‘done thing’ in the states and filtered through to the UK, in part the reason for this being that ladies were looking for some thing a little different for themselves and then for their boyfriends when it came to portrait photography. The next natural step was of course the bridal boudoir photo shoot. This became a celebrity show piece and the wedding magazines picked up this growing trend and the rest as they say is history.
