Boudoir studio is underway - keep up to date on progress

The wall paper is on the walls the riach lux fabrics are bought and ready to get started, We are waiting on some of the hard funishings and some stiching to do.. but accessories have come pouring in and we are on target for test shooting to start the end of this week and clients shooting the week after (providing the testing goes well).
The grafixphoto gallery will be updated with some clients that have allowed there shoots to be shown by mid November.

We are currently encoraging ladies with free shoots, and currently have 5 willing and able girls ready for there suductive and sensual boudoir photoshoots.

Not far to go, most fo the work is done and the planning on the second studio in already underway. (same building)

We will have the Boudoir ready by friday and intend to carry out the first shoot on friday night (3rd Oct).

We have 7 Ladies waiting for their shoots and we are only looking for another 3 for the free boudoir shoots iver the next few weeks.
a few of the pages have been edited/corrected on the website, and more time will be spent on the site shortly.

all the 3-5 in the morning finishes are paying off!!

I will also be shortly adding the on the costs page of the website pocket books and magazine style albums(image books) so that you can get a rough Idea of the costs of any ordering as well as the normal standard print prices. these are a little hard to define as it will depend on the work put into the photos (retouching etc)

I forgot to update this post thread, the boudoir studio is finished, we changed things around a little, and have had clients in having their photoshoots.

While we seem to have enquires, we reply to them but we fail to get an answer back from the client. - let hope that clients are reading the info and added our domains to their safe send lists so that our emails are not filed in their spam box??


So economic distress... its nice to know that we go through the bother of spending a lot of time and moeny of a studio to be met with a credit crunch, this means that less people are interested in having photos taken in all areas and the purse strings have tightended.
In an effort to recover the costs, we will be looking at the packages and prices for all the grafixphoto photography services to see if we can cut costs, but sadly it will proberly be one of them fake things that shops do to pretend that there is a sale on and its a great deal.

Currently we charge a higher sitting fee than that of the print frees, effetively, it makes us actually cheaper that many other photographers as when you order a 6x9 we dont charge £30 for it. So with our uber offers, what we will do is lower the sitting fee and put up the print prices to match other photographers - or maybe a little under ( have to be compedative now dont we s;) -->src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" />s;) --> )

NEW NEW and New

Boudoir studio is now finsihed, its a wee bit small when you got everyone in there, so we will be activly promotion location shoots for most people.

we can shoot single people, with little problem, but the aim is to have a great days shoot. Location shoots (see image on the contact us page of the site) offer something a little more different, its bigger and it lends it self to being selective and directly related to themes.

We are yet to finish off the white studio for shooting, but with such a small space we are looking at using other locations for the shoots.

TBH trying to balance quality, space, and customer satifaction is pretty hard when people think that shooting is just point and shoot and everything is wonderful.

I hope to have some new studio locations to shoot from in the near future.
