A report released from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons has revealed that the amount of cosmetic surgery procedures performed in the United States continues to rise each year. In response to this report, the premier Facial Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Forum & Information Website, FaceForum.com has indicated that amongst the cosmetic surgery options, many Americans are opting for 'lunch break' procedures which can be completed in less than one hour. The website has published a free, online article outlining plastic surgery consumers' lunchtime options that would aid in an understanding of which procedures fall into the 'lunch time' category and what they are designed to treat or do. Facial rejuvenation, dermal fillers and permanent makeup have been listed on FaceForum.com's lunch-break menu for cosmetic surgery consumers. Shawn Miele from the cosmetic surgery forum Face Forum stated that lip augmentation, laser hair removal and chemical skin peels are the most popular of the 'lunch break' cosmetic treatments.

Customers need to note that not all cosmetic procedures can be completed in the same amount of time. For example, Laser skin resurfacing can be completed in as little as thirty minutes, but not always. Some sessions can even last two hours or more as well.
