Once you have created your account and returned your conformation email, you will be able to log into the system.

The system has a simple user interface that gives you simple tasks that you may wish to carry out.

Submitting a Listing :

On your users menu you will find a link stating submit a listing. When you click through you will be provided with two boxes (note that they are revered)
In the bottom box, you will see the directory sections, you will also see that this is listed on the top box.

As you find the category where you will want to place your listing, you will see that the top box changes to the directory name. Once you have found the last listing category (states 'No more categories under this category') will be shown on the bottom of the page.

YOU MUST place your listing on the ends of the directories/categories and places a return link to http://www.National Photographer.co.uk on your home page. Failure to do so will result in your listing being removed and a advertising charge made agaisnt your account.

Writing your listing
At this time do not enter a telephone number in the box provided, we are looking into resolving this issue. You can edit your listing at any time, We suggest that you check your listing for mistakes and lay out. If you want to put a new line into your listing, use standard HTML code '<BR>' This will give you a new line. For bold text use <b> and end the bold text with </b>
Keep your listing short, Users do not want to spend all day reading text about you and your services, your key words with the services that you offer with out adding 'fluff' to the listing, you do not need to write a life story.
Add areas, You may want to place information on the areas (towns) that you work in that are local to you, this will allow the user to see if you are local to them.

Bad:
My name is Geoffrey, I live with my family in Bristol and have been doing photography for a few years, I now have a studio and I am really proud of it. I shoot for many people and can shoot on location as I got a printer and laptop. I like photography and would very much like to offer my services to you as I am cheap. Visit my website as its got lots of photos of my work www.gefforyimage-photography.co.uk

Adding images:

At this time we do not support user submitted images. Images are generated automatically from your website.
We hope to be adding this feature in future upgrades to the photographers directory.
You can now add images to your listing, Simple send us your details on your listing and the URL of the images that you want to use. Ensure that the Image is the correct size and we will place the image on your listing for you.

Category additions:
This system is semi automated. If you find that there is a missing area (geographically) or a sector of photography, please add this to the correct place on the site following the path way of the directory.
Once you have completed the category, a Email will be sent to us and we will confirm the category and act as necessary. A email will be sent to you regarding your suggestion and the site will be updated as needed.
Please allow two days for the site to be updated, however this is normally completed within 3 hours.

Payment:
We take payments for the listings, images and banners by cheque and paypal. If you wish to have an invoice sent to you please contact the team if they do not contact you within 4 days.
Once you have made your listing any fees due must be paid within 10 days of your listing or your listing will be removed unless under a promotional offer. You will still need to pay the fee on the listing and administration charge of £35.00

Accidental listings:
If you have listed your business in the wrong area such as a premium area of the site, you will be billed for that listing, please ensure that you check your listing by looking at the website and within your control panel. If you have made a mistake we allow 24 hours for you to change your listing and will contact you if the payment has not been made or contact made with us about the error.
