This systems has an 8-port controller card that supports externally attached SATA and SAS drives and supports the next-generation PCIe connectivity. It features Adaptec RAID Code (ARC) with RAID levels 0, 1, 1E, 5, 5EE, 6, 10, 50, 60, JBOD, as well as Copyback Hot Spare and optional Snapshot Backup. The system also has a 6 SATA controller card on board for other hardware and the remaining discs to be fully functional
The system is based on a server motherboard allowing your to also upgrade the processors if required, the system will hold 36 gigabytes of RAM total and 8 gigabyte is included for performance.
For business users, you may wish to consider having Windows 2003/2008 server installed as this system is capable of running a network of around 100 users.
Rating 
This system has windows home server installed, this is limiting and may not offer full server services out of the box which some users may require, The server dosent contain a tape back up or blue ray solution for off site/external back up, there are USB ports for external drive back up to be removed from the site. Business users may wish to consider to upgrade this server to the Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 server platform when required as there is space for a redundant Power supply in the case. Also recommend is a UPS for server systems.
