We test and built all the computers by hand and put them through significant testing to ensure that your computer not only lasts some time with out faults but gives you quality.
Due to the way in which certain computers are built, the process of tuning can take some time to finalise. Hardware fault testing can also take some time to complete to ensure that your Psy4 computer can take the abuse that you throw at it. Sometimes we find faults that need to be resolved and this can also take time as will importing hardware.
There are many variables with the computer production so we cannot give you a fixed time on when any computer will be ready only when we have completed the testing can we give you a time on delivery.
To give you some idea on how long you have to wait to get your Psy4 computer I have put these estimates here to give you some idea on what to exspect realisitcally. We dont do 'fluff' and say 3 days, then in 3 days tell you there was a problem..
Elite computers 7-20 Days
P range 4-7 days
VX Range 5-10 days
E range 3-7 Days
VS range 5-14 days
HS range 7-10 days
Tuning only - 5 days
To give your some idea on the times that we use here is a breakdown: Ordering hardware 2 days, sorting and reviewing 1 day, building 1 day, testing 2 days, software installation 1 day, testing and tuning 3 days.
Hardware fault replacement 3 days, testing 1 day, paper work and discs 2 days, posting and packaging with delivery 2 days.
As you can see a computer on average takes two weeks. peek seasons can mean delays, however we only build a limited number of computers each year or may stop production on the Elite range due to a hardware change that is shortly comming and therefore the purchase would be a waste of your money.
We stop production for things like the dual and quad core processor releace, AMD new socket, PCI express releace. This stopping in production ensure quality and life in your computer system purchase.
Custom built computers can take a little longer to deliver as the configuration communications can take sometime as will imported parts. Many imported parts can take a week to two weeks to arrive and the configuration can take two to three weeks, on average a custom built computer with imports can take 3-5 weeks until it is delivered. If they do not have imported parts and the communications are fast, a custom built computer can be delivered in around a week.
