The Health and Safety services
Health and Safety training and advice
COSHH, Health and Safety training inspection and advisory services are available from GTWCMT. Our aim is to promote a safe working environment for all staff and reduce the risk of accidents to risk to others.
Health and safety legislation is forever changing and it can be difficult to keep up with and interpret the requirements of today's health and safety Regulations. The recent introduction of the Fire Safety Reform Order, new CDM Regulations and the Smoking legislation are just a few examples of the changing face of Health and Safety today.
Risk Assessment is carried out for most business sectors to allow for a complete service from GTWCMT. Together with those services we also offer employee hand books and job role instructional services. A risk assessment is an important step in protecting your workers and your
business, as well as complying with the law. It helps you focus on the risks that
really matter in your workplace – the ones with the potential to cause real harm. In
many instances, straightforward measures can readily control risks, for example
ensuring spillages are cleaned up promptly so people do not slip, or cupboard
drawers are kept closed to ensure people do not trip. For most, that means
simple, cheap and effective measures to ensure your most valuable asset – your
workforce – is protected. » Contact us
